Smooth Moves
OK, so you’ve probably already seen this viral video of an awesome kid caught dancing to Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal while doing the dishes.
But that doesn’t make it any less lovable.

Love TV Carnage, love teen chat shows. See the two combine in The Best of Totally for Teens and pray that it gets picked up by Adult Swim.
As a fellow Freddie Mercury fan, I was tickled with Jennifer Hom’s Google homage in honor of what would have been his 65th birthday.
I don’t usually notice the celebrated google doodles that often, but this one’s extra special, with rainbows and tigers and that signature mustache.
Happy Birthday Freddie.
I remember many years ago having a discussion about how unintentionally “bad” things (think Ed Wood) had gone the way of the dinosaur with media having become so overproduced by committee and only concerned with profits, with unusual voices being silenced by businesses that found no need for them…
and then the internet exploded with opportunity for amateur talents.
Anyone can have a dream and make it happen, so long as that dream is limited to becoming a viral video.
Just take A. Samuels, a 55 year old casino executive who wants to be a rapper.
You may have already seen this video of pure cuteness but one more chance to see a mama cat hug her kitten can’t hurt anybody.
America We Stand As One by Dennis Madalone
This video of a cubby cute baby laughing in slow motion gets more surreal and hilarious as it goes on.
My dad is a huge fan of World’s Dumbest and this Sasquatch story was the piece de resistance of the “hillbillies” edition.
Further proof that toddlers are tiny drunks without the alcohol comes from this adorably funny short film.
This is just a portion of the short “Las Palmas” directed by the handsome puppet making Swede, Johannes Nyholm.
Thank you, Brandon for the link.
For a guy that looks like just some kid I would have been friends with in high school, or alternatively just some kid I wouldn’t have been friends with in college, Brett Erlich is one funny guy.
You might recognize him from the better than it needed to be Rotten Tomatoes TV show, but I prefer these Viral Video Film School videos, available on youtube and on current TV.
Tackling such themes as Stunt Fails, Adorable Puppies, and Scary Robots, these little shorts have also introduced me to such things as “haulers” (people who who what they just bought during a shopping trip on youtube) and “cash gifting” (a scam where people online ask you to send money for no real reason).
Thanks dad for introducing me to the glory that is John Jacobson, the enthusiastic, glowing white toothed choreographer who has introduced me to the double dream hands move. The short instructional video may seem repetitive but you’ll want to stick around for the cabbage patching and free styling at the end.
Jacobson, as frighteningly Disney channel as he is, seems to be a man who means well. According to his site “John is the founder and volunteer president of America Sings! Inc., a non-profit organization that encourages young performers to use their time and talents for community service.”
But still, this just makes me laugh – and want to learn the routine for the next time I am find myself in spandex or in the middle of a dance party.
Jim loves this. I believe the scenes are from Jesus Camp, which would have been way cooler if it were Lizard Lady Camp.
Thanks to Steve, of Team Assignment for linking to this awesome, slowed down version of an Olsen Twins ode to pizza. It’s the latest in slowed down pre teen pop (see Bieber slowed down 800 percent) that results in something way more amazing than the straight to VHS song could ever dream to aspire to. I think Biz Markie should cover this.
This mind blowing scene from The Female Ninja Magic Chronicles has been making the internet rounds and makes it clear that I have to find a copy of this series.
W. O. W. wow. Thanks you Jonny for introducing me to “Hedo” Rick, a man who has been to the swingers adults only playground Hedonism II forty times. The reason? Well, I’ll let him explain it before launching into a dance that will evoke very strong, possibly terrible feelings in you.
The curly haired tot, Jessica from this popular viral video is so adorable. There are days where I wish I could muster this kind of optimistic enthusiasm to start my day.
I love this. So metal.
