Bitches, pills, fame, defeat, sex, scandal, and betrayal. You'll find it all here at full volume from the best campy trash novelist in the world, Jacqueline Susann.
Valley tells the tale of three women: Ann, Jennifer, and Neely (a writer, actress, and singer) who meet at the beginning of their brutal climb to make it in the big city. And what a tale it is. I have no compunction to say that this is one of my favorite books, and, I kid you not, it's well written and completely engrossing. I was so involved that the end left me completely devastated for a couple days.
I made one of my male friends read it, but I have yet to find a straight man who enjoyed it. Everyone else, pick up this book immediately and bask in the camp.
But what do you think?
