Mon Amour Tokyo, Mon Amour. It brings to mind summer blondes, big sunglasses, a lady on the go making heads turn in the city. Basically it reminds me of a hair commercial from the late seventies, and that is a huge compliment.
Pizzicato Five is an interesting group, that to my surprise has been around since 1979. But this is a dubbed version of the song (the original was released on Romantique 96) on the Combination Speciale album that I picked up a few years back on a whim knowing very little of what to expect.
What I got was an enchanting instrumental that has brightened my days for years.
But what do you think?
