The Waste Land might be the more popularly taught of Eliot's poetry, but far and away The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock is not only my favorite T.S. Eliot work, but my most favorite poem of all time by anyone. And to think he had to pay to have these independently published in 1917. If you are unfamiliar with The Waste Land, Prufrock, And Other Poems, then pick it up.
