Semi autobiographical short stories and novellas about Berlin in the years before and during the Nazi's rise to power. An interesting and frightening time through the eyes of the fringe of Berlin society – artists, gold diggers, prostitutes and homosexuals.
Some are too naive to see what is coming, some too self absorbed. One story inspired the play “I Am A Camera” which became the musical “Cabaret“.
