Perusing the aisles of Dean and Deluca I found this little package beckoning me. I even left the store, got lunch elsewhere and impulsively walked all the way back to buy it. Salty and sweet is an excellent combination, and this brownie from Baked NYC (a company that really prides itself on its fakey laid back, “we're just some dudes that love dessert” attitude) does it well.
Plus, the shelf life is really long, the brownie I got stayed moist for days as I nibbled at it like an rabbit on a diet, the moistness was almost unnatural and began to get scary, in fact, I've never seen anything like it in brownie form before. But it tasted really good, so maybe I should stop asking questions.
