These smiling sweets have become quite an obsession online. I must try one myself from La Delice Pastry Shop (on third and 27th) but I need to prepare for a sugar shock to the system from the looks of the icing and cake insides.
I rarely can recommend something I haven't tried, but when a dessert can make people giddy before they've even taken a bite, who cares what it tastes like. But my guess? Tastes like sugar and butter, and there is nothing wrong with that.
