Spoiler Alert! I may not be as cool as you think.. because the other night I tried to watch Antonioni's The Passenger, hoping to recommend it in light of his recent passing, and all I got out of it was the realization that Victor from Beverly Hills Cop (who has a brief appearance) is pretty hot.
The fact that Stephen Berkoff looks evil, plays evil on film, and who knows, may very well be evil in real life too doesn't bother me. Neither does the fact that his heart belongs to the stage. Nothing bothers me about a man this ruggedly handsome.
He's like a slightly more diabolical Rutger Hauer whose been in 'Under the Cherry Moon' AND a Rambo movie.
(But seriously, back to Antonioni, even if all of his films don't make my top list, with the phenomenal and previously recommended Blow-Up as the exception, the world lost one of its most unique visionaries).
But what do you think?
