No stranger to Brix Picks is Sandy Denny. You may recognize her as he lead singer of Fairport Convention (and also Fotheringay) whose “Matty Groves” was my best song of the year.
Jim and I love her, not just for her easy breezy hippie charming style but for the same reason everyone does, she sings like the most beautiful renaissance angel.
I predict our children will grow up with her voice singing them to sleep, for which they should be grateful because as much as Jim loves me too, I don't exactly call to mind images of angels when I sing.
