I've been eating either a peach or plum every day for the past few weeks and they make me so happy. Both are in season until October so indulge and enjoy. Both should smell fresh and have a little give without being smooshy, but if it's too firm, the plums especially can be a bit tart. Also go for larger plums, I have found smaller ones too can be tart. These are a perfect low calorie summer dessert.
