Mike found this recipe from Mario Batali, and thank goodness it serves six because we all got to partake in the mellow sweetness of this lovely dessert. The panna cotta, which for some reason didn't set as hardened as perhaps it could have, did not suffer flavor wise from it's free form. Creamy, but not too rich, sweet and yogurty but very mild, this is a nice, balanced and fresh dessert.?
The accompanying sauce of strawberries marinated in vinegar and sugar with a black pepper kick was perfect. The two elements went together marvelously. Do enjoy!
But what do you think?
