Oyster Bay is a ritzy and pretty northshore town in Long Island that Jim and I have been taking day trips to every summer for a few years now.
We always stop at Oyster Bay Fish & Clam (on Rt 106) and eat amazing lobster rolls, oysters, and steamer clams served by local teen girls bored at their summer jobs.
With its location close to beaches, parks, Ikea, and The Planting Fields Arboretum, Oyster Bay is a perfect first or second stop on your weekend journeys.
