As you will read below, I have been really getting into cross word puzzles, and New York Magazine's are my favorite. I did countless puzzles during grand jury duty a few years back – an unhappy but brief chapter in my life, so the connotations of cross word puzzles were not good: not getting paid, hearing drug addicts say they didn't do it, etc?br/>
But recently, my computer bit it and I have had to occupy my free time with these addictive games. I like New York Magazine's because they're not too hard or too easy. They do require some thinking though, so you feel pretty good when you complete one.
I've gotten much better at them and I've learned the trick is to keep coming back to unfinished puzzles with new eyes.
But what do you think?
