(First Bloody Mary)
Worth a visit just to see the Maxfield Parrish mural. I remember my dad took me in to see it once when I was wee and it was an unforgettable experience. As an adult you can visit to have the bloody mary, which was first invented by Fernand Petiot in Harry's New York Bar in France, but he first served the libation in the US when he became head bartender at the St. Regis. Note that the bloody mary is referred to by its original name here, the “Red Snapper”. Also be aware of the dress code: No shorts or sneakers after 5pm. No hats at any time. Expect no bargains, just refined atmosphere and a bit of history.
But what do you think?
