Proof that an imperfect face can be far more interesting than a perfect one, Jean Paul Belmondo is the definition of a face with character. The world fell in love with this charismatic thespian in 1960's ?bout de souffle. I fell in love more than thirty years later as I watch the same film one lonely summer dreaming of falling in love in Paris.
That love only grew stronger with Pierrot Le Fou. With his charm and style , it is little wonder that Ursula Andress and Laura Antonelli can be named as his lovers. Possibly the biggest actor in France for decades, sadly he is largely absent from the screen and theater today.
But what do you think?
