Hunks »Harrison Ford

harrison ford rick deckardIt must be strange to be known to the world as so many iconic characters: Han Solo, Indiana Jones, and, to old men who watch TV shows about war machines, Jack Ryan. My personal favorite Harrison Ford role is the replicant bounty hunter Rick Deckard in Blade Runner–a film that also features one of the very first hunks I felt was worthy of these pages, the great Rutger Hauer.

I guess all these performances and notoriety have earned Ford the right to be charmingly elusive in interviews, wear an earring, and date a much younger waif. It remains to be seen if he has to forfeit some of those luxuries if he desecrates his own legacy with Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I know this movie is a dream come true for some of you, so I'll try to remain positive, but…

Onto another subject. Ford is almost as heroic in real life as he is on screen, once saving a man from dehydration in his private helicopter (yes, rich people do really have those) and acting as a major animal conservationist.
