Perry has done a fine job of culminating examples of the trend of hand written typography, a movement that shuns the ease and carbon copy results of computers and technology, a trend that we all know has actually been gaining momentum for the past decade and is now becoming, if not main stream, then at least recognizable and acceptable in graphic design as more and more young and talented artists are making their stamp on the world.
Included are the works of Deanna Cheuk, Kindra Murphy, Stefan Marx and Luke Ramsey. Perry pulls work from fifty world wide designers working in the art of hand typography and has, fortunately, given their work a beautiful, bright, big book to live in. Understandably, young artists are going gaga for this book, drawing inspiration from its pages. It's an ideal gift for anyone interested in graphic design.
But what do you think?
