We all know the name Gary Cooper and it's synonymous with dapper good looks, but my generation mostly knows that from the Taco song Puttin' on the Ritz while even younger generations have no idea who Taco is.
Once he was the biggest star in Hollywood, a legendary hunk who turned down both Gone with the Wind and Alfred Hitchcock and walked away with the Oscar for his restrained portrayal of the lone town marshal in High Noon.
He dated hollywood's most lovely leading ladies like Marlene Dietrich, Grace Kelly, and Patricia Neal, but was himself just as pretty.
