Open and free to the public, not in that “suggested donations” way, but in a flat-out-you-don't-have-to-pay-and-we-won't-judge-you way. I haven't been in a while, but will be making a trip this week to see the Love and War: The Weaponized Woman exhibit that runs through Dec. 16.
Keep in mind they are closed Sunday and Monday but, unlike most museums that don't cater to the people that actually live here and have jobs, it stays open until 8pm on weekdays, 5pm on Saturday.
