Can's music is very hard to describe, it sounds modern, yet timeless; soothing but with a nervous edge; and experimental, yet accessible. In fact, Ege Bamyasi is considered one of Can's most accessible, with a pop edge to the madness.
From the rhythm, to the vocals, to the odd lyrics, the whole album is an exciting experience. They have inspired many bands including Talking Heads, Joy Division, David Bowie and Mooney Suzuki who took their name from two of its members' last names.
