I've been a devotee of local bakery Peter Pan for so long now that I haven't even set foot in any of the other establishments that dot Manhattan Avenue. I've been tipped off repeatedly, by multiple reliable sources, that Riviera is excellent; I really should have listened and stopped by earlier. After all, there's room for more than one awesome bakery in Greenpoint.
We've been enjoying their huge, soft, pillowy croissants (both plain and raspberry flavored), but I can't wait for the day when they're not sold out of chocolate. 10am, it seems, is too late to snag one of these popular treats.
But what do you think?
