The online blogger community called Blogcatalog is a place for people to share their blogs and chat, but the best part about the site is the exposure to blogs that would be hard to find in the vast maze of the web otherwise. I will be sharing the good ones with you often, starting with The Clumsy Cook, a clean simple recipe and food blog that does was a clean simple recipe and food blog should.
Robin tries a range a recipes from sweet to savory, easy to difficult. In fact, I was drawn into the site by her entry on making, in my mind, one of the most difficult baking tasks around – the Buche de Noel, a lovely festive traditional rolled cake that resembles a log and takes several pages and nearly a cartridge of ink just to print out all the directions. Along with antidotes about her cooking experiences, she most importantly displays lots and lots of bright and appetizing photographs of her dishes.
I used her version of the Rachel Ray recipe for Spanish Stew as this weeks recipe pick and as you'll read it was phenomenal.
But what do you think?
