Like a ten dollar bill found in the pocket of an old pair of pants, the rediscovery of an old favorite that you haven't had or even thought about for years can make anyone feel excited and smiley.
It happened to me when I had chocolate milk for the first time in a long time the other day, and it's probably been happening to people since 1689 when Hans Sloane invented it in Jamaica.
I would have loved to have been on those island shores, tasting the refreshing beverage for the first time, even after a long stoned conversation with Sloane about what he intended to do with his mammoth collection (eventually it became the beginnings of the British Museum).
But musings aside, in the here and now I can highly recommend New York local brand, Ronnybrook Antibiotic Free Chocolate Milk. Aside from being Antibiotic, which I assume is a good thing since they're advertising it, Ronnybrook milk is also not homogenized so it's better tasting and more nutritious (so says their website).
But what do you think?
