Places to Visit »Providence,

Providence, RI Having lived there for four years, I am in love with the city of Providence and enjoy a trip back now and again. Aside from some amazingly beautiful and eerie architecture, Providence also boasts some excellent restaurants – including Bob and Timmy's, East Side Pockets, Sawadee, Geoff's, and Capitol Grille.

Unfortunately, like most places dear to your heart from a special time in your past, it just isn't quite what it used to be. Most music venues and the infamous Fort Thunder were destroyed. New developments creep in with every visit. But I still love the place and I hope do too.

Places to Visit »Las Vegas

Las Vegas Seedy and overwhelming. You will most certainly find many ways to have fun – and why not – be like Britney and get married at the famous Little White Chapel while you are at it. (I'd pick the zoot suit if I were you). Really, everyone should go to this crazy place once – for no longer than a week – you will start to deteriorate after that.

Places to Visit »Negril

Negril Although getting home through customs and baggage claim almost made me forget i had ever known happiness, Jim and I just got back from the most relaxing and beautiful places – Negril, Jamaica. After landing prepare yourself for an hour long white knuckled bus ride on a two lane highway through bustling non-tourist towns and ever changing tropical landscapes. When we reached Negril we never left (although there are some day trips I would explore next time). We stayed at the wonderful Seasplash Resort which hit the perfect note between intimate boutique and resort hotel. The hotel restaurant, Norma's, is the best one on the seven mile beach directly outside the hotel. A dude named King hangs out if there is anything you want to buy … wink. In fact many people hang out on the beach pushing everything from sugar cane, to massage, to hash, to sex. Negril is not too built up yet as a tourist town, so it feels more serene than party time – although you do run into alot of vacationers from all over the world – half of which I always assume are pervy in some way from watching too many Real Sexes in the 90's. The trip is affordable and sublime. The sand is soft, the water is clear, the sky is blue. I have never relaxed so much since I was in grade school.

Places to Visit »Dana Point

Dana Point The real OC, bitches. Sorry, I'm Federline crazy today with my tough talk and my thoughts of cornrows. Anyway, I went to a wedding in Dana Point recently and it is a very peaceful and delightful place to visit. They have sandy beaches and friendly people (strangers say hello and good morning to you there). Also an In & Out Burger is within driving distance. We stayed at the Laguna Cliffs, but beware their front desk guy named “Scott”, he's an asshole.

Places to Visit »Sterling Forest

Sterling Forest in Tuxedo, NY A sprawling and varied place to hike in New York. We walked a very scenic trail around a peaceful lake, then headed to a way creepy trail with overgrown houses I was too scared to go in. I prefer the creepy trail, which I believe is the Indian Loop Trail. I bet you could get really freaked out if you went at night, but you could also get shot – we found a Bambi tail tied to a tree. I am hoping that is some totally normal hunter thing to do?

Places to Visit »Graceland

Graceland Elvis Presley As it gets cold, go south. Graceland is a great road trip destination, even if other parts of Memphis can be less appealing. Word of advice: if you're a young woman, don't go to the race track late at night, it's not as fun as you might think.

Elvis did have an awesome pad however, with some pretty fantastic and unusual decorating choices.
