Smith and the boys must have been much cheerier chaps when they started out because their first albums are so upbeat (well at least for them). Perfect to listen to in conjunction with longer days and breezy sunshine, this is a sparse and energetic album with some of my favorite Cure songs; including “Killing and Arab” (did Smith read his Camus or what?) and the infectious “10:15 On A Saturday Night“.
