It has not been a good month for computers in our house. My computer's power supply broke, then Jim's hard drive while other friends have had their entire computers stolen.
The lesson – back everything up on an external hard drive. I recommend doing so once a week.
Jim and Brett recommend Western Digital and Seagate brands. The last thing you want is to loose all your photos, documents, etc. It will make you cry.
