On October 12, 1978, Nancy Spungen became a household name after boyfriend Sid Vicious plunged a knife into her stomach at the Chelsea Hotel. This is the story told through the heartbroken eyes of Nancy's mother. A woman who not only had to endure the pain of a murdered daughter, but the total hellish havoc Nancy wrecked on the family's lives while she was alive. An informative book written to give voice to parents of unstable, or schizophrenic children, as well as parents of murder victims, this may not be the tell-all salacious book you might expect.
That does not mean it's not interesting; it is and mind opening as well. This is an honest and emotional read, so honest and emotional it might even scare the crap out of you if you plan on having children.
But what do you think?
