Books »After the Plague

T.C. Boyle's stories and characters invade your thoughts long after you are finished reading them. His writing is so simple and subtle, but always hauntingly memorable.

This collection of short stories haunts me the most. While he deals with major issues – abortion, loss, growing old, the end of the world … it is the small human elements and details that I love so much.

Some stories are truly phenomenal, all are intriguing and distinct from each other. They are by turns heartbreaking, funny, gripping, and intense. This collect is also available at audible.com.
