Inside the strange exterior of the Hudson Hotel (that has no sign, but you can find it by looking for a big modern block with blocks jutting out of it and a neon green glass sliding door) you will find a very classy, low-lit place to sneak in a couple martinis on your way home with a good girlfriend.
The super high ceilings hold a plethora of books and the subdued quite atmosphere add to the “library” theme. Expect to pay about 12 dollars for a martini, but it is well made, the service is polite, and again, it is a very pleasant atmosphere — just like an idealized prep school library minus the shooshy, plus the booze and a couple pool tables.
But what do you think?
