Udo Dirkschneider sounds exactly like he looks–like an angry dwarf–and what could be more appropriate for homoerotic German heavy metal with a bent toward inscrutable lyrics about “torture and pain”; “They make you drink your blood/And tear yourself to pieces!” That's a line from their best song, and the one that got me into this once popular, now obscure band, the title track “Balls to the Wall”, which has a pretty fab video to go with it.

I was surprised to find the entire album is made up of great metal in the spirit of Judas Priest and AC/DC, with a little bit of the chanting from Wizard of Oz thrown in. But Accept is not only about torture, to match their wicked riffs, Balls to the Wall is considered one of the most sexually explicit albums of the decade. Here is a great gallery of their album art.
