Love It To Death by Alice Cooper (1971) Mixing horror and rock and roll is a great idea. Recorded when Alice Cooper was a band name rather than a man's, it propelled them into the mainstream. “I'm Eighteen”, “Is It My Body”, “Second Coming” and the brilliant “Ballad of Dwight Fry”, which he would perform in a straight jacket, are all some of my favorite songs these days. I know Alice Cooper is not for everyone, but this album is worth a listen.
