Style Icons (Male) category pick for the week of 2/20/06
Continuing my recent obsession with Gram Parsons (see song of the week) - I pick the mad man father of country rock as my style icon. He influenced everyone he met, including the Rolling Stones and the Byrds. He lived life fast - his drug abuse was too much for even Keith Richards - and, sadly, died young (with a strange journey after his death as well). His impact on the world of music lives on.
